Dr. Larissa Habib

Dr. Habib completed her Ophthalmology residency at Columbia University. She went on to complete an Ocular Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She completed an additional fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a second fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard University. She is certified as an ASOPRS surgeon; a distinction held only by a few hundred surgeons worldwide.

Dr. Habib served as a teacher and mentor at Yale School of
Medicine for physicians completing their Ophthalmology residency and was awarded Yale School of Medicine’s Best Surgical Teacher. Logging thousands of hours in the operating room, she strives to advance her surgical techniques and perfect her craft. She has over thirty peer-reviewed publications and is continuously invited as a speaker and instructor to local, national, and international medical conferences. In a rapidly evolving field, Dr. Habib prioritizes
remaining current and prides herself as an ongoing learner. She engages with the latest studies and treatments for various eye
disorders and cosmetic renewals.

Regardless of the severity of the condition, Dr. Habib approaches all her visits with the same professionalism and priority. She not only cares for you as a patient but also sees you as a person. She will take the time to get to know your individual needs, goals, and expectations in order to inform her approach. Her dedication to her patients fuels her drive to do as much as she can to provide the best possible care.

Brianna Almeida

Practice Manager

Brianna Almeida was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT. She graduated from Fairchild Wheeler Magnet High School and then went on to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene at Norwalk Community College. While completing school she accepted a position at Northeast Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and quickly realized her passion for oculoplastic surgery. Brianna then accepted a position with us as our Practice Manager. She is working toward obtaining her license as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
