Orbit Q & A
When should I seek help for a problem in the orbital area?
Any new growth or change around your eyes warrants an appointment at Northeast Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. It’s essential to seek help if you’re experiencing eye pain, swelling, or other issues. Even benign growths can affect your cosmetic
appearance or cause problems with your eyesight. Dr. Habib can diagnose your specific issue and determine what kind of treatment you need.
What is the treatment for orbital problems?
Just as there are a wide variety of orbital problems, there are many treatments available. Dr. Habib prescribes a treatment plan with your eye health, vision, and appearance all in mind.
In some cases, you may need oral or topical medications, and in other situations, you could need surgery.
During eye surgery, Dr. Habib can remove necrotic (dead), cancerous, and severely damaged tissues. She can repair damaged tissues and also reconstruct your orbital structures after surgery.
The sooner you treat orbital issues, whether benign or malignant, the better the chances of permanent correction and ongoing excellent eye health.

My daughter and her dad was running late to her first appointment. I just called the office to let them know that my daughter's father was running late. I was hoping that I didn't have to reschedule the appointment. But the office was nice enough. To just push the appointment time to 2pm instead of 1pm. Thanks

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctor is great. Would suggest more time allocated by schedulers for doctor time etc so that the waiting time is reduced and the doctor has more breathing time.
